I have learned the concepts related to the legal and honorable issues in the Child and Protective Services. I have identify the ethical dilemmas the Child and Protective Services face and applying critical thinking skills to the resolution of ethical dilemmas. The agency where my interview was do was at the Seneca Job and Family Services in the state of Ohio. The Child and Protective worker I interviewed was Mrs. Rhoades. The interview with Mrs. Rhoades conducted at 9 a.m. on August 26, 2010, and the interview lasted almost an hour.

Mrs. Rhoades is an Intake investigator for the Child and Protective Services through the Seneca Job and Family Services. Mrs. Rhoades is in charge of receiving complaints of fry abuse or cut screened in from her supervisor. Then Mrs. Rhoades leave have to investigate the complaint of child abuse or neglect by visiting the children of the family to work if there is a case of child abuse or neglect. If Mrs. Rhoades determines there is a case of child abuse or neglect, the children will be removed from the home. The Child and Protective Services department provides numerous programs to the families and children in child abuse and neglect cases. Referrals to the Community will help parents receive the help they select to prevent child abuse or neglect and to regain them the needed help to get his or her children back (Help Me Grow).
