Synopsis of the Situation and appellative of Central Problem:
Glengarry Regional Medical Center is a small medical center which is located in a small town called Scotston. This hospital started off with only 35,000 flock and five beds. Over the next three years, it further flip ones lid to fifty five beds. This expansion continued and the hospital in the end had 166 beds and the name went from Glengarry Regional Medical Center to Glengarry County Hospital. Though, the community has expand from 35,000 to 86,000, the amount of beds remained the same.
The board members knew that an expansion needed to take place. The basis for this was because patient roles started to complain about the long waits and crowded hallways. Hallways were used for patient care and this caused the hospital to be warned about them not having a license for the upcoming year. It was decided that with the cost of 75 million, they would expand the hospital to 248 beds.
