In Common Sense, doubting Thomas Paine argues independence for America. He starts out with very general arguments about religion, g everywherenment and then contract on specific situations and events in the colonies. Paine states that Britain doesnt help Colonies to flourish. He argues that the Colonies do not gain much from being with Britain and should pall free now. He provides many reasons such as Colonies size, capabilities, and relationships with the residue of Europe. He even propose a new mannequin of government of democracy that would fits new independence colonies. Paine has many arguments that tint to events covered in class. He argues that British does not reckon over Colonies yet rather attacking them. This directly connecter to events such as The Boston Massacre, Quartering Act or appointment of Lexington and Concord. All those events have British troops both violate colonist rights or attack them. This is clean-living for Thomas Paine to argue this point because it was true that Britain did not really earn over the Colonies after the French and Indian war. Britain told them to stay where they ar and not to expand West and cause troubles or in this case war with the Indians. Britain instead sent their troops over to the Colonies and control the ports, trading routes and keep the colonists in check.



They open blast on colonists when there were just squirreling and attack them in Battle of Lexington and Concord. Paine also argues that Britain watch over America only to visit British own economic well being. It is absolutely fair for Paine to argue so. on that point were many acts pass to collect taxes from colonists or secure British economy.
