PTSD is a mental health condition triggered by a shocking, terrifying, and disturbing experience. It has been called a normal reaction to an abnormal situation. Many people who go through traumatic instances in their lifetime have problem adjusting and coping. With time and taking care of yourself, these feelings usually pass. However, sometimes the symptoms enshroud for months or even years. This long term affect is called PTSD.
