Alison is in business selling policing and security equipment to g everywherenments and privy security companies. For the last five years, she has bought her batons from Ben, who manufactures this equipment. Alison originally selected the batons she wanted from an advertisement on Bens Web-Site, describing the product and stating the hurt. She then ordered batons periodically using an Order Form printed off the Web-Site and paid the invoices for to each one order when they were E-mailed to her by Ben.

A year ago, Ben wrote to Alison by stead indicating that he would no longer be manufacturing the ordinary batons that she had been buying, notwithstanding would instead be selling automated push- plainlyton batons at leash times the price. However, if a customer concurd to buy a minimum number of batons over the next 5 years, the price rise would be limited to twice the price of the old batons.



Ben indicated that if Alison wanted to start buying the new batons, she should reply via post.

Alison looked at the new batons on Bens Web-Site. She then E-mailed Ben indicating she was willing to agree to commit to buying the necessary minimum number of batons over 5 years for twice the price of the old batons, but that she wanted the batons to be blue, not black like the ones shown on the Web-Site. Because Alison mistyped Bens E-Mail address, he did not receive her heart and soul and Alison received a pass notifying her of this.
