        The book I read was named How Stella Got Her Groove Back. The author is terry McMillan. The characters are Stella, the narrator; Quincy, her give-and-take; Vanessa, her younger sister; Angela, aged sister; and Winston, her lover. Stella is a hard working 42- year- old woman. Her son goes to visit his father in another state, so shes left al iodin at berth. She decides to take a spend as well. She wanted to go somewhere she could relax and ingest fun all at the same time. Stella decides to go to Jamaica. She meets a man. Hes tall, dark, and Jamaican. Theres only one problem, hes 22. The entire time shes cut there in Jamaica, shes with Winston having a ball.

Unfortunately, her vacation has to end. She returns home to find out she has been replaced at her job. In addition, she has to hear her sister Angela criticize her about having an affair with a 22-year-old boy. Winston calls Stella and tells her he wants to go across her again. Stella goes back to Jamaica, but this time she takes Quincy and her niece. This time Stella meets Winstons parents whose perplex is almost her age. This makes her feel uncomfortable. The next time they sit together, its at Stellas house where Winston meets her family.



Everyone likes Winston, but her sister Angela keeps reminding her that Winston is a boy.

After getting past all that, Winston asks Stella to marry him. Stella is diffident because of his age. She finally realizes that she loves him even though he is 22 eld old. She says yes to Winston, they get married and live happily ever after. The team spirit of the story is that love is more important than age.
